Happy Thanksgiving
One of the great benefits of living in the south, is that you can deep fry just about anything. And there is no better way to celebrate Turkey Day, than with a juicy deep fried turkey. It made my job easy! Our good friend Jason came over with a fryer and we got to watch the guys sit around outside as the turkey fried itself. As you can guess, dinner tasted great and it was wonderful to sit down and celebrate with friends.

The rest of our long weekend was celebrated with Glenn's brother and his daughter Katie, who came to visit from Pennsylvania. We really didn’t do much, just a lot of sitting around watching movies and we let ED glue himself to the playstation. But we did take some time to make a few good meals, including one night that we did a full halibut and salmon fish fry (ummm….my favorite).

Kelly! I've been checking your blog to see when you'd write so I could send you a message.
Aren't turkey's great like that! The only time I had a deep fried turkey was for a Thanksgiving in North Carolina. :-)
